The service

MarkMate is an AI-assisted marking tool for A-level and IGCSE mathematics. It helps you mark answers against a mark scheme you provide. It is an assistant, not an examiner of record — you remain responsible for the final marks and feedback you give students.

Acceptable use

Use MarkMate for lawful teaching and tutoring purposes.
Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload others' copyrighted exam papers or mark schemes for redistribution.
Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.

Accuracy

AI marking can make mistakes. MarkMate shows its reasoning so you can verify each mark. We make no guarantee of accuracy and you should review results before relying on them.

Plans & payment

A free tier is available. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (merchant of record). You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of MarkMate.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use means acceptance.
